He has received several awards for the song "Munni Badnaam Hui" from Dabangg.^[2] Nigam is the winner of the television music talent hunt Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and sang a few numbers earlier: the most prominent amongst them is "O Sikander" for Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate.
